This detached stone-built former crofter's cottage with an open fire for 2 people is in the tiny village of Suladale between the coastal towns of Portree and Dunvegan on the Isle of Skye on the west coast of Scotland.
The Old Cottage was once a humble crofter's dwelling, but it has now been lovingly restored and carefully renovated to become a delightfully comfortable holiday home in the tranquil hamlet of Suladale on the Isle of Skye. The owners have refurbished the cottage to ensure that it stays in keeping with its traditional Scottish character and surroundings, and the attractive accommodation includes a wood burning stove in the open plan living area, and a bedroom with four poster bed. Anyone looking for a romantic getaway will find it at The Old Cottage. The owners have created a warm and welcoming holiday cottage which reflects the special magic of the Isle of Skye.
Accommodation
Open fire in sitting area and two oil-filled radiators. Electric double oven and hob with overhead extractor, microwave, fridge, TV with basic Sky package and DVD player with a selection of films, small library of games/books/maps. Fuel starter pack for open fire inc. in rent, electricity charged via meter (charge based on meter reading at end of stay). Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Large enclosed garden with furniture. Sorry, no pets & no smoking. Shops & pub/restaurant at Edinbane 4 miles. |
